CMSgt Delphine D. Crumpton was born in Shreveport, Louisiana to Wesley Wilson, Sr and Willie Brown. She graduated from Fair Park High School in May 1985. Chief is married to MSgt (Ret) Thomas “TC” Crumpton, Sr and together they have six children, Targie Crumpton, Thomas Crumpton, Jr, SrA Tyeshia Burks, SrA Gregory Burks, Jr, A1C Eric Crumpton, and Celeste Burks. They have one granddaughter named Ava and the family dog is Junior.
On June 16, 1986 she enlisted in the United States Air Force as an administrative specialist. After she completed Basic Training and Technical School in September 1986 she was stationed at Barksdale AFB, LA. While at Barksdale she was assigned to the 2nd Avionics Maintenance Squadron as an administrative specialist. She then moved to the 2nd Operational Maintenance Squadron where her AFSC was converted to personnel. In January 1990 she received orders to the 7th Mission Support Squadron, Dyess AFB, TX where she held the positions of Orderly Room Manager, Assistant NCOIC, Separations and Retirements, and Assistance NCOIC, Customer Service. On June 30, 1995 she separated after serving 9 years and 15 days of active duty.
In July 1995 Chief Crumpton enlisted in the Arkansas Air National Guard as a Personnel Specialist. In February 1996 she was selected for a full time position in the Career Enhancement section. She served in numerous duty positions throughout her career including Personnel Relocations, Personnel Readiness, Assistant Base Education and Training Manager, Personnel Employment, and Personnel Systems Manager where she was promoted to the rank of Senior Master Sergeant.
In February 2007, she was selected as the Superintendent of Personnel for the 189th Mission Support Flight and promoted to the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. She retires after performing 25 years and 15 days of outstanding military service.

Jacksonville Care Channel volunteer – unload trucks, stock, sort, and pack Christmas food and toys for families.
Arkansas National Guard and Little Rock Racial and Cultural Diversity Commission, A Celebration of Women’s History Month 2004 – introduced and presented Col Alice Sanders as the 1st woman to reach the rank of Colonel in the Arkansas Air National Guard.
